The Western Ontario Sports Car Association

"Race Into the Future" WOSCA Invitational

The date:

Oct, 22nd, 2005

The times:

Registration starts at 10 AM and closes at 10:30 AM. Driver's meeting at 11 am (First car around 11:15 am).  All competitors must attend the driver's meeting!

The Event: This event is being held as part of Fanshawe Colleges "Race Into the Future" promotional program.  There will be a car show for race-cars only and the slalom will be a demonstration to coincide with the show.

The event is invitational so registration will not be taken at the event.  If wish to attend send application to wosca@hotmail.com.  Since this is a demonstration preference for attendees will go to experienced competitors, WOSCA members and Fanshawe Alumni.  The vehicle being competed in will also be a strong consideration.  Due to time restrictions we may need to limit entries and we appologize if there is not enough room for you.

The Rules:

The same as the region rules (here).  All vehicles will be paxed based on CASC-OR pax factors and scored on corrected times

All drivers must wear a Snell M95 (or better) approved helmet.  Helmets labeled Snell only without a M95, M00, SA 95 or SA 00 label will not be permitted.  DOT rating alone without a SNELL sticker will not be permitted.

Loaner helmets will be available, to share, for new competitors.

All cars must have a number clearly displayed on both sides of the car.  Shoe polish is acceptable.

If you would like to run a non-street legal car, please consult the CASC-OR rule book to make sure your safety equipment meets CASC-OR guidelines.  Cars that are street legal and registered need only have the factory seat belts and seats, so long as they are competing on DOT approved tires.
