| The times: | Registration starts at 9:30 AM and closes at 10:30 AM. Driver's meeting at 11 am (First car around 11:15 am). All competitors must attend the driver's meeting! |
| The Event: | This event is being held as part of Fanshawe Colleges "Race
Into the Future" promotional program. High School students will
be touring the facilities at the school and stopping to check out the
slalom. Entries will be limited to 40 competitors for this event. Pre-registration is available only to WOSCA members as well as Fanshawe students, faculty, staff and alumni. If you wish to attend send an email to wosca@hotmail.com with your full name, brief car description, email address (if other than the one you send from) and home phone number. This will guarantee you a spot in the event. Anyone that is not affiliated with the college or is not a WOSCA member can still register at the event. Make sure you are early if this is the case. If you cannot make it to the event be sure to contact Marshall at the information number listed below so that your spot can be given to somebody else. ALL entrants must still fill out a registration in the morning at the timing tent. Any pre-registered person that does not make the event by the close of registration will have their space given to a non-pre-registered competitor. SPECTATORS: Spectators are welcome and encouraged. All spectators must, at all times, stay in designated areas behind tape and barricades. Any spectators wishing to be in the paddock area must sign the waiver. PASSENGERS: Any person over the age of 14 wishing to ride as a passenger my do so if they have signed the waiver. Passengers must wear an approved helmet and seatbelt, as required for drivers. Any body wishing to ride as a passenger need only borrow a helmet and ask a driver. For this event no driver is permitted to refuse a passenger if their vehicle is capable of taking one. MINORS: Any competitor or passenger under the age of 18 MUST present a parental consent waiver to be signed by their legal parent or guardian. If a parent or guardian will not be present at the event the document can be sent by email so that it can be brought to the event already signed. | The Rules: |
The same as the region rules (here). All vehicles will be paxed based on CASC-OR pax factors and scored on corrected times
All drivers must wear a Snell M200- (or better) approved helmet. Helmets labeled Snell only without a M2000, M2005, SA 2000 or SA 2005 label will not be permitted. DOT rating alone without a SNELL sticker will not be permitted. Loaner helmets will be available, to share, for new competitors. All vehicles must be equipped with a minimum two point seat belt, properly attached as per the CASC-OR 2007 Autoslalom Regulations (link).
All cars must have a number clearly displayed on both sides of the car. Shoe polish is acceptable, or painters tape is acceptable
If you would like to run a non-street legal car, please consult the CASC-OR rule book to make sure your safety equipment meets CASC-OR guidelines. Cars that are street legal and registered need only have the factory seat belts and seats, so long as they are competing on DOT approved tires.

Be
courteous and obey the rules of the road while not competing.

Any
"practicing" and/or warming up of tires at or near the event
site will result in disqualification from the event. ·
All
competitors must
attend the drivers meeting prior to the start of the event. · The Event and / or Series Organizers have the right to refuse entry or disqualify a competitor from competition for any reason. ·
Decisions
of the organizers are final.

| The cost: | Entry is $25 for competitors. There is a $5 discount for WOSCA members or Fanshaw students, faculty, staff and alumni. ID must be shown at registration to prove your status with Fanshawe College. Spectators are welcome and there is no charge, but all spectators must stay in designated areas. All people in the paddock area must sign the waiver. |

| Directions: |
From the 401 (east or west). Exit Highbury Ave. North. Drive north approx 8km to Oxford St. Turn right (east) of Oxford St. Drive 1 block to Second St. (2nd light). Turn left at the first entrance into the college (before the lights at First Street). Proceed Left onto Alumni Road. Proceed straight at the intersection with Campus Drive to enter Lot 6. Spectators may use the section of Lot 5 to the left of the competition area just after Campus Drive.
Alternately, approaching from Cheapside Street: Enter the campus at College Rd. Proceed around the left curve and enter Lot 6 on the right (third gate).
