The 2010 Summer Slalom Series

CASC-OR pax factors will be used where applicable

Note the new-for-2010 street tire classes ST1 and ST2 will not be used in WOSCA events as they have no PAX factors.

Street Tire Bonus - Any car using tires marked with a UTG tread wear number of 140 or greater may claim street tire bonus.  This will give a 2% time bonus in the factored times used for scoring.  This is indicated on a competitors entry form by writing "-S" at the end of their class on the bottom of the entry form.

Championship scoring for this series is planned to be best 4 of 7, events.  At present there are 2 scheduled events, but more will be added.

All cars must have a number clearly displayed on both sides of the car.  Shoe polish or tape is acceptable.  A list of the currently used numbers will be available at the registration table.  WOSCA members may reserve numbers.  Visit the new web forum and see the Car Numbers post in the General Discussion forum to do so.

To save time in the morning please feel free to download and print off the event entry form, and WOSCA membership form.  Any entrants with all their forms filled out please skip the line of people that don't have theirs filled out.  Note that if you don't know your class then please stand in line.  Class should be listed as specified in the 2010 CASC-OR Solo-2 rule book, available here.

Supplementary Regulations

·        Be courteous and obey the rules of the road while not competing. 

·        Any "practicing" and/or warming up of tires at or near the event site will result in disqualification from the event.

·        All competitors must attend the drivers meeting prior to the start of the event.

·        The Event and / or Series Organizers have the right to refuse entry or disqualify a competitor from competition for any reason.

·        Decisions of the organizers are final.

From Woodstock and Points West:

Take 403 East to County Rd. 52 exit - Copetown

Turn left at the end of the ramp and take 52 north to Concession Rd 5 W.

Turn right on Concession Rd 5.  Track is 3.7km down on the left side.  Pit entrance is the first entrance.

From Hamilton, Burlington and Points East:

Take 403 to Hwy6 North

Follow Hwy 6 North to Concession Rd 5 W.

Turn left on Conc. Rd5 W.

Track is 7km down on the right side.

From Guelph, Kitchener and Points North:

Take Highway 6 South (from KW take the 401 east to Hwy6 south exit) to the village of Freelton

In Freelton turn right on County Rd. 97.

From County Rd. 97 take the 2nd left onto County Rd. 504, Brock Rd.

Follow Brock Rd. South to Concession Rd.5 W.

Turn right on Conc. Rd.5 W.
