Stay Tuned!  We are hard at work securing a location for a 2008 Fall Slalom Series.

The 2008 WOSCA Chirstmas Dinner will take place on Saturday Dec. 6th at Windermere Manor once again.  Drinks at 6pm, dinner around 7pm.  There will be door prizes again this year with our traditional grand prize of a years free WOSCA event entries!  See the flyer for details.

Results:

The sixth round of the 2008 WOSCA Summer Slalom Series was a little overcast, but the temperature was a perfect early autumn day!  Thirty six competitors enjoyed a flowing and challenging course at Fanshawe College.  Congratulations for FTD go to Dan V. who squeaked out his first WOSCA ftd by the narrowest of margins over PAX winner Marshall M.  See the results page for other details.

The sixth event also meant the end of 2008 WOSCA Summer Slalom Series.  Congratulations for the series win go to Marshall M.  Reg F. managed to edge out Kevin K on the last event to take second position.  Darcy W. finished in 4th position with Top Novice winner Adam S. rounding out the top 5.  See the results section for the complete standings.

New Membership Offer

Starting immediately anyone may now join WOSCA for only $20 AFTER September 1st.  This means that you have enough time now to join WOSCA and still get maximum benefit for your membership dollar.  Don't forget that the Christmas Dinner is coming up too.

Web Forums!

Well it seems that the Yahoo group is suffering from the same problems as every other mass email form I use so I've broken down and created a web-forum.  It's pretty rough, but as I figure out what I'm doing I'll clean it up and getting it running smoothly.  It does work now so go ahead and post (or at least try and register).  If you can't register email the wosca hotmail account (wosca-at-hotmail).
