The Western Ontario Sports Car Association is a group of motorsports enthusiasts based in London, Ontario, Canada.
WOSCA has been organizing motorsports in south western Ontario since 1953.

Next Event! The annual WOSCA / Fanshawe College Charity Slalom will be taking place on Saturday Sept. 24th. This is always a very popular event with lots of spectators and passenger rides. As usual there will be cheap lunch in the form of Marry Browns Chicken and every penny raised will go to support children's hospitals in London. Registration is back to the old early 9:30 (organizers on site at 8am), so don't sleep in! |

Results:
Some overnight rain scared off a few, but a dry track reward the 18 drivers that came out for the second round of the 2011 WOSCA Summer Slalom Series. A very tricky and technical course made for lots of fun and LOTS of penalties. Being careful was the the key and many of the top drivers hit cones all day. Congratulations go to Marshall M. for FTD and to Doug E. for the overall PAX win and tickets to see the ISMA Super Modifieds (fastest oval cars in the world, if I'm not mistaken). Passing of a Member It is my sad duty to report the passing of long standing WOSCA member John "Jonny V" Vriesinga. On Dec 31st of 2008 John lost his battle with cancer at Bluewater Health Palliative Care in Sarnia. Those that knew John from our WOSCA autoslalom events knew just how friendly a person he was and how much he will be missed. All of our thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this time. The family requests that anyone wishing to express their sympathies do so through donations to Bluewater Health Palliative Care.
Rest in Peace John.

Web Forums! Well it seems that the Yahoo group is suffering from the same problems as every other mass email form I use so I've broken down and created a web-forum. It's pretty rough, but as I figure out what I'm doing I'll clean it up and getting it running smoothly. It does work now so go ahead and post (or at least try and register). If you can't register email the wosca hotmail account (wosca-at-hotmail).
